Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) after payment confirmation. Please note that during busy periods such as holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We currently offer the following shipping options within the UK:

  • Royal Mail: For smaller items

  • Courier Service: For larger items and furniture

  • Local Delivery: Performed by our own team

All deliveries typically arrive within 3 business days after dispatch. We'll provide tracking information where available.

Shipping Rates

We offer simple flat-rate shipping based on item type:

  • Small Items: £5

  • Carpets and Rugs: £20

  • Furniture and Large Items: £65

  • Free Local Delivery: We provide free delivery for all items within a 30-mile radius of our shop location.

Local Collection

Customers are welcome to collect their purchases directly from our shop to avoid shipping fees. Please contact us to arrange a convenient collection time.

Insurance

Insurance is included in all our delivery costs to ensure your antiques are protected during transit.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us by phone to discuss shipping options and receive a quote for your specific location before placing an order.

Delivery Address

It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery information. Additional charges may apply if a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts.

Failed Deliveries

If you're not available when delivery is attempted, the carrier may leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection. For larger items requiring scheduled delivery, we will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable time.

Damages & Claims

All shipments are fully insured. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged:

  1. Please report any damage within 48 hours of receipt

  • Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging

  • Contact us at [your email/phone] with your order number and photos

We cannot process claims for damage if not reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns & Refunds

If you wish to return an item, please refer to our Returns Policy. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs and appropriate insurance unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

Legal Information

In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, we aim to dispatch all orders within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. If we are unable to fulfill your order within this timeframe, we will notify you and offer the option of an extended delivery period or order cancellation with a full refund.
